History

Through his artistic parents Espenbach grew up in silversmithing. His father was talented in sculpting and processing various metals by hand. His mother is talented in drawing and painting. As a child Espenbach and his family travelled a lot, through which he got to know many different cultures and landscapes.

Inspiration

Elements from nature are a great source of inspiration for Espenbach. Also art from old civilisations are inspiring to him. Like the ancient Greek and Egyptians. Of course your very own inspiration or idea can be a starting point for a piece of jewellery or artefact.

Craftsmanship

The silversmith techniques which he applies, belongs to one of the oldest handwork techniques known in history. It is called ‘chasing’ and ‘repoussé’. This is done with a hammer and various chisels, and is rarely seen nowadays. Espenbach will create for you a very unique piece of jewellery or artefact.
