Inspiration

The artwork designed by Espenbach is mostly inspired by elements from nature. Plants, flowers, animals, insects, reptiles and a lot more. Nature elements is a magnificent source of inspiration for him as an artist. During his childhood Espenbach and his family travelled a lot throughout the world. This gave him the opportunity to get in close contact with his surrounding cultures and nature, in all its shapes and forms.

This inspiration very often starts during a walk close by or sitting in his garden. Or by watching plants, emerging out of the soil in the spring. He also loves to photograph these inspirational things. Also numerous books about and archaeological artefacts and ancient civilisations do inspire Espenbach. Also Illustrated nature books about wildlife and vegetation are valuable to him.
